Do you think you will be able to retire by 60? Why?
According to a CNA report, a survey showed that 60 per cent of Singaporeans want to retire by the time they reach 60 years of age. However, only 40 per cent have developed - or intend to develop - a proper retirement plan.
What do you think? Are you able to retire by 60? Share your views with us.

Yes, im able to retire by 60. because why? I believe in insurance because they provide protection as well and give great returns(guaranteed/non-guaranteed). I have start savings with insurance,American International Assurance to be exact. I have made retirement planning and financial planning too. And guess what? I'm only 23.A Singaporean. And even till now, I am also buying more insurance plans and also working hard to earn and pay myself first, that is through savings, so that I can have enough money when i retire to sustain till the rest of my days.
I believe everyone wants to retire healthily and wealthily, if not for ourselves, then for our children of course. Some might say, my husband is my financier and some might say my kids will definitely support me. But let me ask you, is enough ever enough? Therefore,Singaporeans and including the PRs too, should start to have this mindset and beliefs that retirement in Singapore especially, goes all the way early; the earlier you plan, the faster you accumulate wealth for yourself & family and retire happily.
